Towards the end of July we enjoyed balmy warm evenings here in Essex, with beautiful skies with the soft glow of the setting sun, mixed with moody blue hues.
It was the perfect time of year for photo shoots at the pretty sunflower and wildflower fields in Writtle, Essex.
I had exclusive hire of the fields for my family and pet mini sessions and it really was a gorgeous setting to capture some great memories for my customers, to look back on and treasure through their photographs.
The sunflowers were over 6ft tall and you just couldn't help but smile when you saw them standing proud together! The wild flower fields were perfect as well for smaller dogs and family members, as we could get really low down and get some magical shots of them sitting pretty amongst the flowers.
First up, let's meet Ian and his wife Sam and their two gorgeous dogs 'Murphy' the Giant Schnauzer and 'Rascal' a Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen, who they recently rescued.
I was so excited to meet them all and it was really nice for me as a pet photographer to photograph two breeds which I hadn't photographed before.
I could really tell just how happy both pooches made their lovely owners feel.
Thanks again to Ian, Sam, Murphy and Racal for being such great models and for Writtle Sunflower & Wild Flower Fields.
